I'm reading the much acclaimed and contentious novel 'The Da Vinci Code' since the past few days everyday morning on my way to the office. For once I'm not complaining about the jams and enjoying my bumpy ride. I hate putting it down after reaching the office. I can tell you the novel is only getting more fascinating and absorbing and I am awed by the author's extensive research and knowledge.
Just read a few days ago on google answers that TDVC is the best selling novel of all time. Around 40 million copies have been sold and it has also been translated into 42 languages. Also, sony pictures is making a movie out of it starring Tom Hanks and the expected release date is May 2006. I'm eager to complete the book.

May 19, 2006 to be specific. It's indeed one of the most interesting novel I've read. I completed it in one read making my journey from Bombay to Kanpur (more than 24 hours) totally a pleasure. :)

its a gud book yaar..i finished it in one read too!
The book is well written, good structure and flow. Liked it. Read it more than a year back.
One of my friends told me to read it and that the facts would shake my beliefs and the very foundation of my religion :-) well it didn't...
