This movie is about the American side of the story in WW-II. It is an amazing movie. The movie tries to bring forth the point that superheroes are nothing but normal people with normal desires and wants.
Gives me yet another reason to love Client Eastwood!
I am dying to watch 'Letters from Iwo Jima' again by the same director and which is the Japanese version of the battle. (I have downloaded the Japanese movie and will watch it with subtitles :D) This one has got more Oscar nominations than the Flags..

Foof got well deserving nominations for sound and sound editing.
Music played at the end was the most touchy part of the whole film and the coarse narration.

I saw flag of our fathers last weekend... yeah clint eastwood is clint eastwood... the guy is a classy film maker.... yet to check out letters by Iwo Jima... have you seen his Unforgiven and Bridges of Madison County... good stuff...
